Production of the "Pant" component
Šidlák, Jaromír ; Lidmila, Zdeněk (referee) ; Žák, Ladislav (advisor)
The thesis presents a proposal for manufacturing a basic hinge body. Together with the base, it forms an assembly that can be used, for example, in letter boxes or switchboards. The component is made of 3 mm DC01-A-m steel and has an annual production run of 10,000 pieces. The part has a galvanic zinc surface treatment. After considering possible production technologies, production in a progressive shear tool was chosen. The production process was designed to produce the hinge from steel sheets cut into strips. Based on the calculations, a suitable cutting plan was then chosen and the necessary pressing force and labour was calculated. The LEN 63 C press from the manufacturer ŠMERAL Trnava was chosen for the production. The thesis also includes designing the progressive tool, which was based on the necessary calculations. The tool itself was designed mainly from standardized parts. An economic evaluation of the design was also made. It determined the required quantity of material per production batch and the selling price of the basic hinge body, which is CZK 11.9 per piece.
Machine for summer maintenance the road ditches
Lukeštík, Přemysl ; Malášek, Jiří (referee) ; Kašpárek, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design concept and custom machinery for the maintenance of ditches. The device is designed as a machine operator extension. This work focuses on the design of the selected processing unit.
Design and Manufacturing of Hinges for Door Vertical Opening
Hroch, Jaromír ; Ramík, Pavel (referee) ; Dundálek, Radim (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis describes atypical car doors opening. First were described types and then is the thesis focused on vertical opening (scissor doors). Then was designed hinges of this type for Mazda 323f. Then were prepared drawings and prototype, which was installed on the car to verify the functionality.
Production hinge saddle motorcycle
Hanych, Libor ; Peterková, Eva (referee) ; Lidmila, Zdeněk (advisor)
The project elaborates the design of technology production of the hinge used for fixing saddle motorcycle. The hinge is manufactured from 1 mm thick construction sheet steel 1.0038 in production run of 50 000 pcs/year. A technology of shearing and bending at progressive die tool was selected from various options as the most suitable technology of manufacturing. Based on the literature study of shearing and bending technology, an optimal production process of hinge was designed. After technological, structural and control calculations the tool was designed and the technical documentation was elaborated. The eccentric press LKDR 200 made by ŽĎAS company was selected for the production. This press complies in terms of required forming force and the dimensions of the tool. Using the economic evaluation, the production costs for one hinge were calculated in the amount of 18,5 CZK. 35% profit of the company is included in the price. According to the calculated turning point, the production becomes profitable after 24 187 piece being manufactured.
The Active Bonnet Hinge
Galda, Michal ; Růžička, Bronislav (referee) ; Brandejs, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with designing the construction of an active bonnet hinge, tuning the kinematics and appropriate proportioning of individual parts of the hinge. The thesis consists of two main parts – the first part is an analysis of the current state of knowledge and the second part presents a designing the construction. The active hinge should serve as a safety element in automobiles to minimize consequences of head injury suffered during the collision of a pedestrian with an automobile.
Damage tolerance analysis of wing to fuselage joint of L 410 NG airplane
Duchoň, Peter ; Mališ, Michal (referee) ; Augustin, Petr (advisor)
Master's thesis deals with the damage tolerance analysis of wing-to-fuselage joint of L 410 NG airplane. Thesis includes determination of the load distribution to the individual attachments of wing-to-fuselage joint, residual strength analysis and residual fatigue life analysis of the most loaded attachment lugs, calculation of fatigue crack growth curves in the attachment solids and inspection program proposal. This analysis was performed using FE model of the wing and central part of the fuselage and AFGROW software.
Long optical fibre routes influence on the polarizing state of light and uses it for powering polarization sensors
Panascí, Marco ; Grenar, David (referee) ; Filka, Miloslav (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the influence of long fiber optic paths on the polarization state of light and their use for powering polarization sensors. The aim of the diploma thesis was to design the arrangement of optical fiber components so that the polarization properties of light at the end of the path are further usable for sensory purposes. Four partial measurements with a long path (in a laboratory setting, laying in the ground, on a curtain, under the influence of external influence) and one measurement without a path under the influence of external influence were designed. The overall measurement results demonstrate that for the functional power supply of long-distance sensor systems, an existing single-mode fiber can be used (laid by laying in the ground), into which a light source for a given sensor system would be multiplexed. In the discussion, all types of measurements are analyzed and compared with each other. Finally, the overall result is summarized and applications are described in which such a sensor system could be used.
Suspension footbridge over the Bečva River
Kavecký, Jakub ; Zlatuška, Karel (referee) ; Nečas, Radim (advisor)
The theme of this master thesis is the design of a footbridge for pedestrians and cyclists over the river Bečva. A suspended footbridge is selected from three developed bridge variants. The design was analyzed in more detail in the Midas Civil program where the construction timeline was also included. The footbridge was loaded with dead loads, live loads from pedestrians and climatic loads from wind and temperature. For internal forces, the structure was assessed for ultimate and serviceability limit states. The pylon was also considered in the program with 2nd order effects. The model of footbridge was subjected to dynamic analysis. The graphical output of the work consists of overview drawings, reinforcement drawings, detail and phased construction drawing with visualization.
Plan curved pedestrian bridge
Lachová, Alžběta ; Jurík,, Michal (referee) ; Koláček, Jan (advisor)
The subject of this master thesis is the elaboration of a study of a curved footbridge leading over the Svratka River. Two variants were created, from which a suspended structure was selected for subsequent modelling and assessment. The footbridge consists of a monolithic bridge deck made of prestressed concrete. The cross section of the bridge deck is designed as an asymmetrical box girder, suspended on one side by a pylon. The pylon is located on the inner side of the bridge deck at the junction of the apex and the centre of the circle and is anchored by hinges to the subgrade.
